Connecting Kidepo to Murchison by road (via Gulu and Masindi) takes 2 full days — fly via Entebbe to keep the 6-day schedule viable. Domestic legs booked as part of the package. Hippos and Nile crocodiles at close range. Murchison Falls National Park protects the full stretch of the Victoria Nile between Karuma Falls and the Albert Nile delta — 115 km of river corridor. Shoebill stork breed in the delta papyrus (seasonal). Murchison's game drive circuits include Buligi, Victoria and Albert Nile tracks. Patas monkey troops forage on the grassland near the delta in the dry season. Morning game drive or visit the top of the falls viewpoint. After lunch, begin the drive south toward Masindi or Kampala (approx. 4–5 hours to Masindi). Overnight in Masindi or continue to Kampala if preferred. Masindi town (approx. 30 km from Murchison southern gate) offers mid-range hotels for overnight before the final Entebbe transfer. Top of falls revisit is optional on departure morning. Morning game drive on the northern bank targets lion and leopard before checkout. Masindi overnight breaks the 5-hour drive to Entebbe on Day 6.
