7 Days Rwanda Primates Tour — Gorillas, Golden Monkeys & Chimps

Rwanda · Primates across Volcanoes & Nyungwe

Tour overview

Rwanda's complete primate triangle in seven days: mountain gorillas, golden monkeys, and chimpanzees across Volcanoes and Nyungwe. Combined permit cost roughly USD 1,690 (gorilla USD 1,500 + golden monkey USD 100 + chimp USD 90).

Golden monkeys are Albertine Rift endemics in Virunga bamboo zones — lively, colourful, and far less strenuous than gorilla treks. Nyungwe's chimps inhabit ancient montane forest with optional canopy walkway.
