Why is Tarangire National Park famous?

Tarangire is famous for its large elephant populations, spectacular baobab trees, seasonal wildlife concentrations, and excellent predator sightings. During the dry season, the park hosts one of Tanzania's largest concentrations of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem. Thousands of animals migrate into the area seeking water from the Tarangire River, creating extraordinary game-viewing opportunities.
