What is Tarangire National Park?

Tarangire National Park is one of Tanzania's most underrated yet rewarding safari destinations. Located within the Northern Safari Circuit, the park covers approximately 2,850 square kilometers and is famous for its enormous elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, seasonal wildlife migrations, and excellent birdwatching opportunities.
