Home FAQ Planning & logistics

Can I pay Rwanda safari in installments?

Direct answer

Many operators accept installment plans — typically 30–50% deposit at booking, 50% balance 30–60 days before departure. Gorilla permits (USD 1,500) are usually paid in full upfront because RDB requires immediate payment to allocate dated, nominative slots. Some companies offer monthly payment schedules for trips booked 6–12 months ahead; permit portions are non-refundable regardless of payment plan.

Overview

Uganda combines mountain gorilla trekking, classic savannah game viewing, chimpanzee tracking, birding, and cultural experiences in a compact circuit. The right answer depends on your dates, fitness, budget, and whether you travel with a licensed operator who handles permits, road logistics, and park regulations.
