How many people trek together?

Direct answer

A maximum of eight tourists per habituated gorilla family per day, plus UWA rangers and trackers—so your trekking group is typically 8 visitors maximum. Larger travel parties are split across different families or trekking days; private treks are not available, only private vehicle transfers to the park.
