Home FAQ Gorilla trekking

Yellow fever for gorilla trekking?

Direct answer

Yellow fever vaccination is required for entry to Uganda and Rwanda if you arrive from or transit through a yellow-fever-endemic country — border officials may demand a valid ICVP certificate. If flying directly from the US, UK, or Europe without transiting endemic countries, vaccination is not legally required but is still recommended by the CDC. The vaccine must be administered at a certified centre at least ten days before travel and is valid for life in most adults.
