Ruaha National Park is Tanzania's largest national park after Nyerere and one of Africa's most spectacular wilderness destinations. Covering more than 20,000 square kilometers, Ruaha protects vast landscapes of baobab-studded plains, rocky escarpments, seasonal rivers, acacia woodlands, and open savannah. It forms the heart of Tanzania's Southern Safari Circuit and is widely regarded as one of East Africa's last great wilderness areas.

Unlike the more famous Northern Circuit parks, Ruaha receives relatively few visitors. This creates an exclusive safari experience where game drives often occur without encountering other vehicles. Many safari experts consider Ruaha one of Africa's finest destinations for predators, wilderness photography, and authentic safari experiences.
