Is yellow fever required for Rwanda?

Direct answer

Yellow fever vaccination is not required for entry to Rwanda if you arrive directly from a non-endemic country such as the US, UK, or Europe. Under International Health Regulations, a valid yellow fever certificate is mandatory for travellers aged one year and older arriving from endemic countries in sub-Saharan Africa or South America. The vaccine is a single lifetime dose for most adults, administered at a certified centre at least 10 days before travel.
